Here are just a few reminders as we prepare…..

Sign-Up Genius for Supplies and Volunteering:

Donate necessary supplies!  There are two SignUpGenius links found above (as well as the link for the potluck dinner sign up).  In order for band camp to be successful, we need ALL families to donate in some way.  Please bring all donations to band camp on Monday morning (7/24) or when your schedule allows, and we’ll store everything properly and use these supplies throughout the next three weeks.  Thank you for your donations!

Spend some time with us!  There are plenty of things to do during band camp, and we are grateful for any and all volunteer time you can spend with us.  You get a bit of a sneak peek at what they’re learning and you’ll meet some terrific parents, too!  Thank you for volunteering your time!

Sunscreen and Water:

This is so important!  Make sure your student has plenty of good-quality sunscreen, and make sure they are using it!  Remind them to apply and re-apply throughout the day.  Be sure to remind them about their hands…..even when the students are learning drill without instruments, they are holding their hands and arms up as if they were holding instruments.  Apply sunscreen generously to all exposed skin.  A hat and sunglasses help, too.

Everyone needs to carry a water jug with their name on it.  We provide water and Gatorade in large dispensers for the students to refill their own jug.
