Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestras Audition Information

The Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestras (CSYO) have provided exceptional musical experiences to students in grades 7-12 through orchestral programs and performances of the highest caliber since 1964. Each week CSYO musicians receive instruction and leadership from internationally-recognized conductors, coaching from Cincinnati symphony Orchestra musicians, and collaborate with other talented young musicians from all across the region, building lifelong friendships.

Auditions for the 2017-2018 season are taking place August 9-12. CSYO is open to all standard orchestral woodwind, brass, string and percussion instruments, plus harp and piano. We are here to enhance, not replace school music programs. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to give me a call. We work with 200 students who represent 30 high schools in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Indiana. We have students who travel from Lexington, Indianapolis, and north of Dayton, Ohio to participate.
