Welcome to the Lakota East Upbeat Club!

The Lakota East Upbeat Club (LEUC) is the band booster organization that supports Lakota East Band programs. Every parent or legal guardian of an enrolled Lakota East Band program band member is automatically a Lakota East Upbeat Club member! The LEUC works year-round to provide financial and volunteer support for the many opportunities offered to Lakota East Band Program members. The Upbeat Club meets in the Lakota East High School Band Room. Meeting dates will be posted on the band calendar.

Mission Statement

The Lakota East Upbeat Club’s (LEUC) mission is to support musicianship and active student engagement that ultimately influence and benefit the Lakota East Band Programs. The LEUC supports efforts to promote the benefits of music programs by advocating for instruction and performance opportunities. As a booster organization, the LEUC’s primary function is to support the administration, directors and band program members, which enrich the school environment and the students’ experience at Lakota East High School.

The Lakota East Upbeat Club strives to support the Lakota East Band Program by providing volunteers, leadership to coordinate events, organization of physical equipment, financial support, advocacy and problem-solving solutions for band program activities, all within the boundaries of partnership and cooperation with its band program directors and Lakota Local School District policies.
