What is Tag Day??

Tag Day is the largest fundraising event for the Lakota East Upbeat Club (band booster organization). 100% of proceeds go directly to all of the high school bands for the purchase of instruments, equipment, and other necessary items beyond what the school district supplies.

Lakota band students including those from Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, as well as Guard, walk in teams through Lakota East neighborhoods collecting donations door-to-door, and giving donors receipts (tags). Ensemble groupings of seniors perform at different locations around the townships, culminating in a final performance at a single location with all of the Tag Day teams. It’s a great day to support the needs of our school’s band program.

Senior student musicians and guard are performing at these locations & times:

• Liberty Collective: 11:15-1:45
• Skyline Chili (Dudley Dr.): 11:15-1:15
• Chick-fil-A VOA: 11:30-1:30
• West Chester Walmart: 11:15-1:15
• Lakota East High School steps: 4:00-4:20 **
